Hey There!
Facebook Ads are one of the best ways to attract high-quality leads for pool construction businesses. If you’re looking to set up your first ad (or refine your strategy), this guide will walk you through the step-by-step process to get your ad up and running successfully.

Step 1: Access Your Business Page
Frist of all, of course, open Facebook
Once you're in Facebook:
Click on your profile picture icon in the top right corner.
Select the Facebook Page you want to publish the ad for.
Click on your page to the left to enter your Facebook Business Page editor.

Step 2: Open Meta Business Suite
Once inside your business page:
Navigate to the left-hand menu and click on Meta Business Suite. This is where you'll create and manage your ads.

Step 3: Choose Your Campaign Objective
You will land on the “Choose an objective” page.
Since our goal is to get more pool construction clients, select “Get More Possible Clients”.
Mine is in Spanish, guide yourself for the icon.

Step 4: Create Your Ad Copy
This is where you add the text for your ad:
Description: Copy and paste your ad copy here. (If you got one from me, this is where it goes!)
Title: Add your ad title. Again, if you received one from me, paste it here.
Call to Action (CTA): Select “Get Quote” to encourage leads to reach out.

Step 5: Define Your Target Audience
This is the most important step! Make sure Advantage+ Audience is activated, then click on the pencil icon in the top right corner of the audience settings to enter detailed targeting.
Recommended Audience Settings for Pool Contractors
Location Targeting: Set the ad to your office location and draw a 15-50 mile radius, depending on how far you're willing to travel for clients.
Age Range: 35-75 (This group typically has the financial resources to build a pool.)
Homeownership: Select Homeowners only (avoid renters).
Income Level: Target the top 30-50% of income earners.
Family Status: Consider targeting families with children, as many install pools for their kids.
Interest-Based Targeting
Home Improvement & Renovation
Luxury Homes & Real Estate
Outdoor Living & Backyard Design
Swimming Pool Companies & Pool Design
Homeowners Associations (HOA) (if applicable to your services)
Behavioral Targeting
People engaging with pool-related content on Facebook & Instagram.
People who recently moved (they may want a pool in their new home).
People engaging with competitor pages (retargeting users who interact with other pool-related businesses).

Step 6. Set Your Budget & Duration
Define your budget & campaign duration:
If you’re just starting: $50/day
If you have experience: $100/day
If you want to dominate the market: $500 - $3,000/day
Ad optimization takes time: Allow at least 3 months for Facebook’s algorithm to refine your audience targeting, for this reason, strive not to do revisions up until 3 months have gone by. You´ll have a much better understanding of what needs to be improved after that.

Step 8: Payment & Verification
Enter your credit card information when prompted.
Double-check your payment details to avoid any issues.

Step 9: Hit Publish!
Congratulations! 🎉 You’ve successfully set up your first Facebook Ad for your pool construction business!
